Despite it is not yet pressed/ironed and has some wadding stuffed in under for hip shape making it look rather bulky, i am happy with the general look and shape. Can't wait to get some proper photos. Nu har vi äntligen bestämt tid för höstens kor Nu har vi äntligen bestämt tid för höstens korsettkurs. Fokus ligger på historiska korsetter från 1700-1905. Material är inköpt, menyn planerad och flera nya (gamla) mönster är påbörjade. Se hemsidan för mer information. Best way of spending a birthday is drawing pattern Best way of spending a birthday is drawing patterns for historical corsets! New corset pattern is under developement. As I only had two pictures of an old pattent drawing I have no idea of how this type of corset would look from behind, but front and side is inspired by an early 20th century corset. This is the first test, hopefully it will turn out allright. It is still work in progress. 1860's corset from my own/Mytomsydd corset pattern 1860's corset from my own/Mytomsydd corset pattern i yellow dupion silk. The other garments are an extremely free interpretation of historical underwear. The world got upside down this year but I still feel some celebration of the arrival of spring was needed, that is why I wanted roses on my bloomers and a cherry tree in full bloom. More photos of this will follow cause I like how this pattern turned out. It is printed and can be orderd by writing to mytomsydds website. There is also sewing instructions if needed, for now they exist only in Swedish. Winter. We finally got some snow and took the oppo Winter. We finally got some snow and took the opportunity to take some photos of my winter coat. I made this, in pure panic on 3 afternoons to wear on a job- interview. It's made of wool, velvet, ribbons, lined with cotton satin. Ramstein, In flames and Dark Tranquility on full volyme helped a lot......and I got the job. It was 4 years ago and I'm still there.
